      1. @nerthos It's gotten way smarter since the 90s. Due to their six-day production cycle, they're usually seen satirizing current events as they're happening.

        1. @zeldatra They're usually jokes about foreign stuff that I'm neither aware nor affected by, so. As a kid I only liked it because they mades stupid poop jokes and swore a lot.

          1. @nerthos oh, well, yeah, one drawback to their tendency to parody current events is that you gotta know what they're talking about, otherwise it isn't funny. And an episode about, say Ebola, which would be really funny now, won't be as funny five years from now.

      2. @nerthos I just never had the rright channels on my cable package to see it, and by the time we got those channels, I had an easily accessible Internet connection.

        2. @techdisk (by my cable package, I mean my parent's. they still watch TV. the most I use our TV boxes for is the fact they have Ethernet drops on the back)
