        1. @awlditzy carbon fiber is never the wrong answer

          1. @rarity The problem is you can't paint over it. Which wouldn't be a problem if the car was a 1982-83, since they had black hatches/rear bumpers regardless the colour of the car.

            1. @awlditzy half the point of Carbon Fiber is to make everyone know you have carbon fiber

              1. @rarity To be honest the only reason it piqued my interest is that the glass seal on mine is leaking and I have a feeling once I take the window off to repair, the metal will be too far rotted.

                1. @awlditzy well if it's reasonably priced it'll b e a good buy

                  1. @rarity They're talking $799 with all the accomodations, including mounting holes for the rear wiper motor, which I definitely want to keep.

                    1. @awlditzy but is that a good price for what it is

                      1. @rarity For that much material I think so. Good bonnets go for that much and it's just as big, and more fit-required, not to mention needing mounts for the wiper, the lock, the latch, the prop rods and the hinges.

                          1. @rarity You know what it's weird having car talk with someone here besides the usual. Nice, too. So thank you.
