@metaltao The Tokarev SVT-40 is a semiautomatic rifle that was fielded by the Red Army during WWII. It was supposed to replace the Mosin-Nagant, but Stalinist blunders (crippling the armed forces with purges of officers, ignoring obvious signs of Hitler preparing for invasion, etc.) kept the Mosin-Nagant in service. It was easier to keep producing Mosin-Nagants on existing tooling. In spite of this, around a million SVT-40's were manufactured.
