      @broniebrown You could probably replace the damaged piece with spare parts from an old mouse, if you have one lying around.

        @nerthos I will open it soon and look what causes the problem. I doubt I have any spare mouse I can take replacement parts (if it is even possible). I have still an old IBM mouse Today I'm too busy.
