      @nerthos Most programs will have an option for audio output. Switch the device from there. I'm assuming you want a per-program change?

         @redenchilada I just want to know how to set music player and browser to the speakers, and games to the headphones.

            @nerthos Yeah, just open the game's audio settings and see if you can change the audio device. Setting it to Independent Headphones (or the name of your headset, if it's USB) should do the trick.
