          1. @classy Nope, I'm an independent animator who works primarily in comedy, most of which is distributed on my YouTube channel. I've been given offers from various networks and companies, such as Frederator Studios, but I have yet to actually sign on with anybody.

            1. @mrmattimation Yeah, thats a good idea, networks tend to keep show creators, and animators in the dark about how finances go. by the way what is your youtube channel name? I cant fin a video like you described.

              2. @classy It's not finances that really worries me, since I hardly make any money anyway. What worries me is that a lot of these companies want to take ownership of my brand and I'm just not comfortable signing away my name for a few extra bucks.

                1. @mrmattimation I see. well i see what you mean by the classical music, which reminds me, i have to start my remixes up now that i'm not studying, but still, as far as i can see, if sony is getting bananaed at you, then they should probably be getting appleed at 63% of youtube.

                  1. @classy They aren't exactly angry with me. I doubt they even know - or care - about it. YouTube's automatic system can detect copyrighted music and it actually does a pretty good job. Basically they just disabled monetization on that one video to limit legal liability and it's very likely that nothing else will happen.
