    4. @darkw00d My friend and I started jamming together over a mutual love for blues and garage rock and Black Keys are a principle influence on our style. Well, early Black Keys anyway.

    12. @darkw00d But seriously, listening to vinyl is a experience unlike any other, especially if you've got a good player (and obviously by extension a good receiver and speakers). It's also really noticeable if the master recordings for the record were done on analog. Not to mentioned even if you're listening to some FLAC to 320kbps lossless digital music file the fidelity of a vinyl record couldn't be less compressed, so it's an incredibly organic and free flowing sound (though, for the record almost all vinyls these days come with a free digital download too). Oh, and usually with vinyl you're experiencing the record in totality in terms of all its aesthetic, it just feels better. There's nothing quite like slipping a record out of its sleeve for the first time, gently laying it upon the table, starting the player up and letting the needle slowly drop onto it, the fuzzily cackling of adjustment, and then the crystal clear sound of the album itself. I personally love it.

    14. @darkw00d Yeah, I get that. Didn't intend to boast or showboat, I was just getting excited about why I personally like vinyl.
