            @metaltao Actually holding the gun at the shop made me want it more. :D All of the AK's I own have stamped receivers, and I have been meaning to add one with a milled receiver to my collection.

            @metaltao It probably doesn't help that I filed my tax returns at the beginning of the week; I will have a little under $5000 coming to me. The gun shop has that rifle in stock for a little under $1400.

                                @metaltao I noticed the gun was rather clean inside when I field stripped it. I used some CLP to lubricate the gun, and I attached the sling to it. Hopefully I can find time to fire it this weekend.

                                    @metaltao The barrel is hammer forged with Steyr technology. It has sharp lands and grooves; four grooves with a right-hand twist. The bore and chamber are chrome lined to extend barrel life and resist corrosion.

      @darkw00d The federal return on TaxACT is free, but I believe a small fee is charged for filing state returns with them.
