@toksyuryel MGS1's story was perfectly coherent. It as just a spy story about a secret agent preventing a nuclear strike, with a few supernatural elements thrown in for flavor.

@toksyuryel When you play'em all in a row it makes sense :p Snake Eater does a good job explaining why MGS 1 and 2 along with Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge occurred, and opened a good stage for MGS4 to end on. Can't wait for Revengence.

@communistprime Never said it didn't make sense; I've played 'em all and even read through all the entries in that MGS4 database thing. But the quality is just so much better across the board in 3.

@toksyuryel Oh yeah, for sure. The MGS4 database totally helped clear up a couple things. And Snake Eater totally was the best one in pretty much every way, imo

@communistprime Snake's Revenge is non-canon, pretty sure. You can play the real Metal Gear 2 in the subsistence version of MGS3 (along with Metal Gear 1).
