@mushi We had one guy in Afghanistan who learned all his English from watching movies...we couldn't even tell he'd never taken classes. Had all the inflections, slang and everything down, was the best translator ever.

@mushi I love seeing that...wish I had the motivation to learn another language like a lot of people have to learn English. I'd know a lot more languages then! You do a good job though :p

@communistprime All new languages are really annoying until you understand them enough to actually figure something out of them. Trust me, that's faaar better than courses.

@mushi yes, but a lot of words are basically "Norwegianified" versions of English words. Example: Garage = Garasje. Both if these is pronounced the same way. Also, House = Hus, Man = Mann, Land = Land, Foot = Fot, Control = Kontroll, Tea = Te, Hop = Hopp, Race = Res, Mattress = Madrass, Pony = Ponni, Loyalty = Loyalitet, Laughter = Latter. *breathes*

@flaredancer For some, maybe, but in Norway, we start learning it at 6 years of age :) (I don't like to brag, but I've always been the best in class at English)

@flaredancer I know ^_^ when I was 10 years old, I got a "switch" that I can just flip, and I turn English, basically :3

@derpyshy I know some Spanish… very little Spanish, really. I took it in high school, and my Grandpa and his siblings all speak Spanish, so I grew up with it a little.

@flaredancer yup. We were allowed to switch, but and after Christmas, it was too late... I wish we could have had one week where we had all the languages, so we could know how they were...

@flaredancer We had the option of choosing a more in-dept English, but if I were to choose that, I'd have to choose French, German, or Spanish on the next school -_-
