        @m14brony That's what I love to hear... I like the Old fashioned. Government space agencies. You feel a part of the experience despite not being even remotely NEAR the level of intellect needed to go into those facilities.

        ESA
        ETC.
        It is something people can look forward to. Kind of together, but I feel there is something weird with that outlook. But I like it. In fact, I love it.

          @metaltao Indeed. These private space companies are lagging far behind what was being accomplished by government agencies in the 1950's and 1960's (Sputnik, 1969 moon landing, etc.). They are belatedly mooching off of government programs. There was no immediate profit to be made by going into space; it isn't am accident that governmental organizations pioneered space travel.

            @m14brony Oh yeahhhh. The Space race, for science and for bragging rights... Both together, and you get wonders! So damn awesome! Now, all our Gov seems to do s bicker and tell 4Th grade students in their faces how much they hate the idea of making teh Red Tailed Hawk a State Hawk and then make a reference to planned parent hood and sexuality... IN THEIR FACES.
            That was a tangent... And a bit.. Aggressive sorry. But, yeah, that happened this week.
            ANY HOOO, yeah, I agree. We need to keep the Government Sponsored Space Programs. Too cool and to prestigious. As well as controlled and regulated. I don't want anything useless being sent into space before we have an easy and cheap way of doing so.

              @metaltao Such programs would be a much better investment than a bloated military-bureaucratic apparatus, funding illegal spying on citizens, crony capitalism, etc.

                @m14brony Yeah, we spend A LOT on Military Spending, out national Dept is still climbing! I forgot about it until a week ago!There are a lot of things we need to fix... It all seems like a popularity contest these days. *sigh* I wrote letters all day a few days ago.. I should write more. Or not. I dunno. Any ways, I think I may head to bed...
