        2. @mushi Well, a lot of that was because the game was not initially planned to be localized for North America, but when enough people petitioned for a North America release they decided not to recast American voice actors and just stick with the UK dub from the Europe release when releasing the game in North America. I still feel the English voice actors gave the dialogue a lot of colour with their very distinctly British vernacular, but it's understandable that it would be disorienting to parse if you're not used to that manner of speaking.

            1. @mushi That's fair. Despite being Canadian I have been exposed to a lot of British media throughout my life so it was less of a hurdle to really embrace that style in the English version of Xenoblade.
