So the iOS version of Vice City censors every use of the word "Haitian" because some anti-defamation group threatened to sue back in 2003. Well, they adjusted the audio, but not the cutscenes, so I just got treated to a full three seconds of Avery Carrington flailing his arms about with nothing coming out of his mouth because they straight-up just removed the word "Haitian" from the audio file, meaning all his dialogue was out of sync from the video.

@mrmattimation That's racist of them to censor that word. Like what are they trying to get at, that people from Haiti shouldn't even be mentioned?

@polarbear A Haitian group in Florida felt the game was making them all look like thugs and took specific issue with a line that Ricardo Diaz says early on in the game, "Kill that Haitian cherry!"
