    The Windows 7 drivers for my "new" Canon CanoScan LiDE 100 are kinda buggy. Sometimes the scanner just stops in the middle of the scanning process. On Linux it works just fine.

      @adiwan Don't ever but Canon. One day you'll buy a device that has buggy drivers on Windows and no drivers on GNU/Linux at all.

          @adiwan Ah, that makes sense. I also have a Canon scanner that works (and bugged on Windows) but fame of Canon printers is very strong :-).
