                          @caret7 Anarcho-Communism just makes the most sense to me personally. And to me, it seems like it'd work decently well in real life. Although it'd be nigh impossible to bring about without a large scale revolution.

                            @rarity You might find the idea of Distributism interesting. In a nutshell, the rule is: you're only allowed to profit using one means of production. It's OK to own other means, but you can't profit from them. Very cutie-mark-ish.

                              @caret7 I'll look into it, but the way it sounds, it could just lead to feudalistic power for those lucky enough to own the MoP that are most important. what if someone has the rights to profit from the only farm in an area? He has incredible power over those who need to eat.

                        @m14brony I'm to tired to read this but I'd like to at some point. Although I can see from the opening that it's basically some kind of anti-ancom editorial or something. I disagree with Marx that a period of authoritiarianism is necessary to bring about communism, while the author of this piece seems to agree with him. At least that's the gist I get

                          @rarity okay so I'm reading it anyway, Makhno sounds like a dumb guy but he's being propped up as proof that anarchism doesn't work. Completely ignoring the fact that in stylizing himself as a leader he's putting himself above others, i.e. authoritiarianism. so the point is moot tbh
