Aaaargh I'm thinking of finally giving in and applying for Derpy Hooves in this large rp group on Tumblr. But I'm afraid of messing up with the general fandom's view of her and aaaaah.

@rellic Thanks. I'm kinda wondering though, how most bronies think she talks. Would it be broken english, just a couple of words, normally, things like that.

@doctorwhooffanatic One fic I read I liked had it that she could talk ok till she got stressed or upset, then her speech got a bit more random till she focused harder or calmed down.

@doctorwhooffanatic It goes with the multiple views of her. Some think of her as an intelligent pony with just walleyed eyes (normal speech). Some think of her as just plain retarded (broken speech), and some see her as quiet and shy because of her eye problems (a pony of few words). Again, many views. But, in Season 2 Hasbro may decide which to go with, if Derpy even talks.

@doctorwhooffanatic I'm fond of the loopy-but-not-stupid Derpy, myself, but the other portrayals don't upset me at all.
