      @mushi Hmm, might be a tough one, I have no idea what sort of damage your formic acid vapour actually does inside of your lungs, and what chemical bond remains once it has dissolved some of your insides. Your lungs do have the capability to clear themselves, mostly due to small hairs. So I'm probably going to put all of my money on the stuff that destroy's or renders inoperable most of your lunghairs.

            @mushi And, ehmm, blood is a base so... It will not dissolve into your bloodstream ? ... And... Ehmm... Smoking will tar-ify your lungs, isn't tar a base ? ... Maybe they will cancel eachother out ?

               @critialcloudkicker yeah, blood is a buffer solution, so unless i inject a stong acid in my veis it will keep its pH stable, the problem is that the acid vapous can dissolve in the lungs humidity and attack it. But since they are covered in cigarrete smoke maybe it wont have a chance to actually attack the lungs. who knows
