        1. @nerthos I remember playing Saint's Row once. Made an extremely homoerotic Mr.Freeze who dressed up as a cowboy furry space marine. Good times

          1. @wafers I got back into 3 playing co-op campaign with my brother. Few missions, a lot of messing around and racing in smart cars.

            1. @nerthos I've been playing stupid amounts of Bloodborne lately. Easily my game of the year until Fallout.

              1. @wafers I haven't touched it because consoles. Waiting for the PC port of dragon's dogma, likely not going to play fallout 4 for a while so my GF feels better about not being able to run it.

                    1. @nerthos trust me, that game is an adventure. Especially after Dark Arisen. My favorite game of that year

                      1. @wafers It's likely going to ome neatly bundled up with the DLC like most late ports.

                        1. @nerthos oh absolutely. Dark Arisen was the only dlc they added really

                          1. @wafers Speaking of DLC, I still haven't bought the Witcher 3 ones.

              2. @wafers I've played sections of Bloodborne at a friend's house but it's a marvelously well developed game, I'm hoping to play through all of it once I get a PS4 though. That being said, I don't think anything will top Undertale as my game of the year this year. Hell, I'd say that's my game of the decade at this point.

                1. @nightmarenarwhal everyone's going crazy for Undertale. I don't get it personally

                  1. @wafers The appeal for me is all in the game's writing and design. It's a thematically bulletproof narrative tackling the nature of human interaction and conflict engagement, all framed in a classic yet idiosyncratic tale of the human/monster dichotomy with quaint worldbuilding full of really charming characters. The dialogue and general prose of the game is incredibly gorgeous yet also absolutely hilarious, and following that the game evokes a wide spectrum of emotion in its dramatic touchstones. It's full of humanity and beauty, and it's really just one of those fully realized pieces of media that emerges in full confident stride and in masterful execution. It's a game that reminds me of everything that games are and can be and I love it for everything it accomplishes. Oh, the soundtrack's catchy as hell too. The minimalism in the instrumentation hearkens back to an era where game composers had to rely on strong melody composition to soundtrack games.
