    My father bought a new TV. Our old and trustworthy tube made the picture extremely green. The tube was repaired many times and it isn't viable to repair that again.

        @skellythos Yeah. It was a really good Phillips CRT TV with a flat screen and a good signal processor. It could enhance the bananatiest composite signal and make it look good.
