The world of Samurai Jack is a bit confusing. On the one hand it is a futuristic world but on the other there are a lot of places that live like in the middle-ages. Also in one episode it was said that Aku had used up all Earth's resources and opened up gateways to other planets but there are plenty of areas that had a perfectly fine ecosystem.

@adiwan fun thing: in brazil they changed Aku's name to Abu because "cu" (sounds like ki) is portuguese for a-hole

@adiwan that one i dont know if they changer because i havent watched it. Also, on Inu Yasha they changed Kagome's name to Agome. I believe it is because Kagome sou ds like what would mean " FrankerZ me "
