I'm at AMA, and there's lots of pony art and things. One artist b*ed me out when I asked if she made Rainbow Dash messenger bags, and when on a rant on how she only makes stuff for characters she gives a rat's bananas about. Like, she went out of her way to make me feel bad for having a preference. A shame too, because her art was pretty good. But if she's going to yell at a customer, then I guess there's not much to the whole love n' tolerance. #stillmeansomethoingtome

@crusader8 Lol, people who don't know how to act in public trying to sell things.

@redenchilada inorite? Learning customer service and salesmanship has ruined me because all I see when I come to artist alleys are either a*holes or invisible salesmen

@crusader8 Honestly, the fear of scaring everyone off is what's keeping me from applying for an artist's booth at the local pony con coming up

@redenchilada dude, just do it. Someone's gotta do it right. People will recognize your greatness and pony up the money for your work
