    I have a weird problem with smash in that I do well on my opponent's first stock but afterwards i just throw and I lose the match before i can take their second

      @bobo that's been a pattern across my several of my last FG games and it has been more consistent than I would like to admit

      @bobo It could be that you're getting complacent from getting the first stock, so you don't play as carefully as you normally would.

        @northernnarwhal that's what i'm thinking, i should save a couple replays. I play very defensively during first neutral and I absolutely will not commit to anything unless I can get a grab or they're shielding in a weird spot or they don't predict my movement, etc. Usually I wait for my opponent to commit to something and then I counter, but during second neutral and beyond, I adapt this philosophy of "omg just kiwiin die already" and that's a very bad thing to have.

              @bobo I don't really actively play Smash these days but I'll play the occasional friendly on the 3DS with my brother or a friend
