  1. Can the think about facepaint being medieval just die?

    1] it was ancient picts
    2] they painted their bodies in designs, not just splotched on facepaint
    3] the picts as a tribe were gone before the early middle ages.

    2. @maiyannah Celtic tribes had been doing that since even before they took on their habitats of northern Europe and they're only one of a great many different cultures that did paints, or even tattoos.
