Well last night someone threw a grenade over the wall. No major injuries, someone caught a couple rocks in their arm, just a couple small wounds. I'm fine though, and I'm glad no one else was in the area.

@starshine Yeah. It was some homemade explosive, so it wasn't that bad. Used marbles for shrapnel, got a couple sitting around outside still.

@colfax Must be what they had on hand. We think that was the shrapnel though, sinec we couldn't find any metal fragments.

@communistprime Well, either way, as you said, no serious damage was done so that's good, I have a friend or two over that way and I worry about them a lot, and yeah, one of them is a brony in the USAF

@communistprime He didn't offer details and I didn't ask, all I kow for sure is he left th UK a couple weeks ago for "the sandbox" and during his first week there they were mortared 5 times in one night

@colfax Ehhhhh, well that doesn't help. Probably isn't in Kandahar. We've got an Air Force guy on the checkpoint with us, figured it'd be funny if he was a brony.
