    1. @pawnheart Which one is that??? I've watched nearly all ds9, one of the saddest ones I remember was... when they are traveling to go and rescue a woman trapped alone on a planet... and when they get there... 2 whole years have passed due to a time dilation error

      1. @purplephish20 Ah, I remember that one... I was talking about the ep where Captain Sisko is presumed dead in an accident, leaving Jake grieving... but Sisko keeps spontaneously appearing for a minute or so every few years of Jake's life... I won't spoil anymore in case you haven't seen it. It really is special, though.

          1. @purplephish20 ...I pretty much agree there. DS9 (well, series 4 onwards) and the Original Series are my faves.

            1. @pawnheart DS9 was one of the best things ever once the dominion war got fully into gear

              1. @purplephish20 I agree... though I think the final series wasn't quite as good as the preceding three. Gul Dukat was an awesome villain.

                1. @pawnheart Gul dukat was fantastic once he became the insane madman that he did and stopped being simply a cardassian.... general? Captain? Admiral? *shrugs

                  1. @purplephish20 I like the fact that he wasn't actually "eeeeviiil" as such... more fickle and damaged.

                    1. @purplephish20 Damar was a bigger genuine kiwi, I think.

                      1. @pawnheart Damar gave his life for what was good, GAREK was the best character in DS9.. this scene proves it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPocxGUWMxM

      1. @jla I think the Spock/Kirk/McCoy dynamic is pretty much unrivalled... but I get the impression I'm not supposed to be laughing at certain parts of Star Trek II.
