  1. Like I'll drink small quantities for the taste now and then, but never enough to get buzzed

    1. @nerthos I always just get very tired when I'm drunk.  I never got "grapeed" drunk, despite straight up trying to a couple times.  This condition makes my body react weird to things sometimes.

      1. @maiyannah I get sleepy with alcohol but then again I've never drank more than a shot of chocolate liquor or a couple glasses of cider.

        1. @nerthos Family likes its whisky, tends to be when I drink more than a bottle of beer or glass of something.  Never really gotten messed up like some people do though.

          1. @maiyannah Never tried whiskey but even if I liked it I'd keep it to a shot at most. Don't like big quantities of alcohol, same with sweets. Some flavours just saturate me easily.

            1. @nerthos Whisky is best with maybe 2-3 shots worth over some ice, IMO.  I think the thing I like about whisky though is there's quite a variety of different tastes for different palletes though, so there's something among the different labels for everyone.

              1. @maiyannah 3 shots would start to buzz me so I wouldn't get there anyway, plus I'd go over my limit of where alcohol starts tasting bad for me.

                1. @nerthos Different alcohols affect people differently, so its hard to say unless you've tried some.  I'd definitely start with just one to see if you fancy it though.

                  1. @maiyannah It's just that alcohol has that feel of... well, alcohol. And after a bit I start disliking the feeling. That's why I compared it to sweets, regardless of what sweet it is, they all have as a basis the sweet flavor, and if what saturates you is sweet itself, then any sweet will cause the same reaction after a bit.

                    1. @nerthos I hear you.  It's why I actually cant stomach a lot of sweets and prefer something more like a pastry or biscuit.

                      1. @maiyannah @nerthos I'LL JUST LEAVE THIS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCE HERE.

      2. @maiyannah @nerthos You're not terribly missing out, it's not too different from the weirdness of being put on something along the lines of N2O + air.

Drinking beyond that is just people acting like dipgrapes, throwing up and women deciding to go for batcave in the streets while their friends film it on their phones.

    2. @nerthos any time I've drank lately has been like ritual, as in wine with a certain meal.
