Also, Game of Thrones is one of those shows where people senselessly keep dying. It wouldn't surprise me if, by the end, everybody dies because winter has come and the whitewalkers kill them off.
-
@sim To be fair in the show it's weird because they keep making main characters do things that secondary characters should, for the sake of hiring less people.
-
@nerthos
Well, dang... that's not right. But I guess they have to keep within the budget. And they only have so long for the series too. -
@sim The whole Sansa marrying Bolton for example: it was supposed to be another character altogether.
-
@nerthos
Huh... what the hell happened there? What happens with Sansa? -
@sim Not sure, haven't touched neither books nor show since last season. GF wanted to watch it together so I stopped watching it on my own, and we've yet to catch up.
-
@sim They aren't caught up with the books I think, they're just making changes towards what they percieve as selling more, or is easier to produce, like any show does.
-
@nerthos
Good point. I suppose that it also gives Sansa more to do that is interesting. Plus I don't recall the TV series giving Sansa any friends... lol. -
@sim But for what i know it's already been confirmed that the TV series will no longer follow the books
-
@mushi It has too many differences already to try to stick to the story at this point. I don't even know why they do that though, why script writers think themselves better than the original author.
-
@nerthos yeah, the first big difference i heard (since i do not watch the show) is that in the books
