    1. @mushi It's ok for a work/casual laptop, not for high performance, but you usually won't need that from a laptop. Do remember to format completely and install 7 though, it comes with win10

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:00:47 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos yeah, itis win 10, but that is easy to solve

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:01:28 UTC from web
        1. @mushi If you won't be doing gaming or video editing or other high demand stuff, it should be enough. It doesn't have dedicated graphics.

    2. @mushi If youre only using it for light web browsing and word processing it isn't too bad.

      1. @normandy I wanted to play Tree of savior, do you know if it could run it?

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:01:56 UTC from web
        1. @mushi It will. Not on high though.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:03:52 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos i never played anything on high specs before, it wont be a problem now

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:09:33 UTC from web
            1. @mushi Not sure why you're going for a laptop, in your market they're overpriced, but still. I'd try to get something with an actual video card, but you should be able to run it anyway.

              1. @nerthos a desktop would be better but i'm need of one for the college so i thought i could get a not so bad one

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:13:17 UTC from web
                1. @mushi I'd personally go for one of the AMD based laptops with a 5xxx built in graphic card, but not sure what your options are.

                  1. @nerthos they are not much good. I will be making 1500 in a month and that one i showed ou was 2300

                    1. @mushi Well my grandma bought a second hand one for... ar$4000 or so? a while back, along the lines of what I described, which is br$2000 or so.

                      1. @nerthos @mushi Granted it was a great deal, but still.

                      2. @nerthos hm, Second hand is a nice idea, but then i wouldnt be able to parcel the payment

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:53:06 UTC from web
                        1. @mushi What about mercado livre? sometimes they accept multiple payments.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:58:50 UTC from web
                          1. @nerthos they only parcel in credit card, but my card limit is only 100 and it is too low a buy of over R$1000

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 21:03:05 UTC from web
                            1. @mushi Hmm. Well, that's annoying. It's still worth checking and trying to arange something with the seller though.

              2. @nerthos and desktops are overpriced too anyaway

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:14:18 UTC from web
                1. @mushi Only if you buy them already assembled.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:14:57 UTC from web
                  1. @nerthos oh, yeah, i never looked the price building one. but that will have to wait untill i'm not in need of a laptop

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:15:44 UTC from web
                    1. @mushi Pre-built is usually 40% more expensive than building it on your own, and less customizable.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:16:58 UTC from web
                      1. @nerthos In a market as inflated as Brazil's, I'm willing to bet the labor cost doesn't affect the price nearly as much as it would elsewhere. The parts themselves are probably super expensive.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:18:11 UTC from web
                        1. @mrmattimation The market here is fairly similar to his, hence why I'm telling him.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:18:52 UTC from web
                        2. @mrmattimation what affects the price the most here is abusive taxation

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:19:39 UTC from web
                        3. @mrmattimation It's not so much labor as it is added cost for the sake of profit. If you buy the same rig on a chain store you'll pay quite a bit more than buying it from a technician who builds it for you.

Sunday, 26-Jun-16 20:20:13 UTC from web
                      2. @nerthos @mushi You'll generally get a lot of cut corners too.  For example power supplies that are not really putting out what they're rated for because they're lower grade, or slow memory because its usually the size of the memory that is listed and people dont think to ask about speed.

        2. @mushi From my experience with Intel graphics I wouldn't really count on playing 3D games except for really old ones.

          1. @normandy @mushi The Grid series is actually built towards Intel HD Graphics, if you fancy racing games.
