@rohan MGR, spinoff. It's KINDA short but it has basically endless replayability as the gameplay itself is pleasant, even without the story.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a spinoff. You don't really need to play any of the other games to understand the plot, although it makes some references to it. The game is short, but it's one of those games you play multiple times, on harder difficulties, or for a better score, or whatever else.
It has amazing boss battles and scripted moments, most of which are just pure fun.-
