      2. @cavatina 7 years old is still considered young for somewhat minimalist Linux distributions like Lubuntu.

        1. @omni I'd use those if they were remotely useful ^^;, and didnt hurt my eyes to look at~. The system itself is full of old, overused parts. Its genuinely a case of system death :c

          1. @cavatina How are they not useful? And hey, there are more desktop environments than LXDE, like XFCE, and I believe you can theme LXDE, though I'm not sure.

            1. @omni Useful for the work that i do~. Linux in general is not, until i can relegate my laptop to a second system i have no use for linux as a lightweight casual computing OS...all the software i'm trained in is on Windows/Mac. Hence why no linux is useful right now x3

              1. @cavatina Which software are we talking about, if I may ask?

Tuesday, 26-Jun-12 11:41:27 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @omni the adobe suite, sony vegas, VirtualDJ (WINE is not a solution to me, defeats the entire point IMO).

                  1. @cavatina KDEnLive may be comparable to Sony Vegas, though somewhat unstable. I admit that in this case switching is not an option, most you can do is turn it into a server.

    4. @comradeconventrix I never really got what can disropt wifi and what doesn't. For me, a piece of paper made the difference between perfect connection and no connection for some time *shrugs*
