@lyrica genetics is the biggest leading factor to type 1 and the gene being in both sides is the only definitive factor for it. Never too early to start watching yourself, though.

@lyrica yeah, my mom's side doesn't have a history so it could be underlying or something. Life's unexpected like that. Just remember that we all got our imperfections so if it's not that that hits you, something else will.

@abigpony oh I got plenty of other issues. Extra Small Ear Canals, Sclerosis (sp?)(my spinal cord curves to the side), Cateracts, Genetic issue with teeth making them eggshells (and mostly hollow and 98% have since broken in half or more), and that's the more major stuff I know of

@lyrica Ooch, that's rough. My spine is twisted up by my neck so I guess I have a spinal problem, too. I also have difficulties smelling and hearing because I hurt nerves in my nose and ears. I hear that sclerosis thing is quite rough. I had a friend with the teeth problem and he got them removed and replaced. We all got our imperfections, it's just a matter of when.

@abigpony yeah. I've been to multiple dentists, none will remove a single tooth without pulling them all, and for that I need $20k. I also have a nose issue so yeah, my body is nothing but problems, but I try to make the best of it, ya know?

@abigpony @lyrica Let me tell you a story of my curved spine because of scoliosis, I am flexible so I can dislocate things super easy, and all my bones are fragile so they can break super easy.

They were bending me past where my bones thresholds should have been and I wasn't even close to tapping out so they didn't want me continuing to do it because they didn't know how much my bones could actually take before they did. @cajunbrony23 it was made illegal once, and it caused one of the worst periods of our history. The Alcohol doesn't cause the problems, it's people who use it irresponsably (sp?), and it's mostly underage kids who do so irresponsably

@cajunbrony23 Roblem woth making alchohol illegal is that it has been proven that people will still drink it anyway. Just look at how prohibition turned out. Im not in any way against your thought that alchohol brings out the worst in people, but the population has spoken: "we WILL get our beer. Even if it is illegal."
