@awl Thanks! I wish they sold them silver instead of black, though. Powdercoating is expensive and takes a long time at the shop here.

@takePotato Knishesakenji I get you there. If I had thought of it I'd have taken my rack in at the same time as the frame to get it powdercoated something other than black but eh. For now it'll serve its purpose.

@awl The place I use doesn't like powdercoating aluminum because the heat changes the aluminum's properties.

@awl I use steel racks, though, so it's not a concern.

@takemangoakenji I don't know if the place I use would have that issue; they did the wheels on one of my cars without issue but that's different aluminium. Plus they have to have a minimum poundage before they take anything in so it's not like I'd be able to just take the rack.

@awl My shop does a lot of bicycle things, and is located right on the main bicycle thoroughfare between where I live and where I cross the canal.

@takepapayaakenji Mine does mostly automotive which is why I went to them in the first place, they've always done a good job on the stuff I brought in.
