    1. @delores Not likely. Some probably did but barely any. They had to dedicate almost every waking hour to survival so they didn't have time to feel depressed. Depression mostly surfaces when people have some time to think about themselves, goals and the like. People who are constantly busy to cover their basic needs almost never suffer from it, and if they do they can't dedicate enough time to pay attention to it.

      1. @nerthos they didnt have to dedicate every waking hour, just 90%. especially in groups, they would have had some downtime. also, having to fight to survive is a great breeding ground for depersonalization

        1. @delores Still not enough time. Depression only started becoming a really widespread thing when civilization made life easy. It's directly proportional to how advanced a country is, even. First world countries lead the charts on cases per capita. But yeah, one or two cavemen surely suffered from it.
