I just can't get my strength. Now I'm being condemned for turning down a job in a cafe so I can actually attend college and get a diploma. I've been told that it would be appropriate for me to do what other 19 year olds do which is "work a cherriesty job and get applesed at the nightclubs on Friday night" which I don't want... At all

@ceruleanspark This is my stepdad talking, HE was in prison for 3 years for armed robbery, and didn't even start life until 25, he has absolutely zero qualifications but brags that he has never failed a job interview... Overlooking the fact they all the job have been labouring jobs on building and demolition sites

@purplephish20 well, i'd say that is good enough. the only job that was offerd to me was as a model of an agency, and that really murdocked me off. i'd rather work on a mcdonalds for half of the salary, but the schedules dont let me

@purplephish20 like being paid to walk forward. i really didnt like that, that sounded like they were saying "hey, i know you study a lot and always wwanted to be a scientist, but what about you forget about that and make you life with the hair you randomly got from your mother?"

@purplephish20 here, the best colleges are said to be the federal ones, and they are free. I'm study at a federal college, so i'm not that freaked about money yet. the worst part of refusing that is everyone annoying me saying i wasted a great apportunity
