  1. It's like, I'm thinking about what I am saying when I type what is on my mind, but I'm not really thinking about the consequences of opening up like that. I've gone and put my vulnerabilities out there on full display for anyone to read, and it's not really something that I focus on often. It's weird, so weird that I'm not sure what to think.

        Touche. Social media seems to be the place where people feel comfortable displaying their vulnerabilities. Probably because it is harder to talk about in person, and it is anon here. Perhaps it is easier to be detached online than offline too.

        1. @sim It is. But there's also the fact that in these smaller social media there's more of a camaraderie feeling than in other networks.

      2. @nerthos The flip side of that being that most people are basically decent and don't exploit others. And / or are lazy. Either way, the illusion of safety! :D
