  1. !stlouisbronies Anypony in the St. Louis area play DDR? I was just at Ameristar St. Charles earlier playing, and thought that would be an idea for a gathering, if enough people play.

    1. @garylisk (As a casual spectator from elsewhere on the internet,) if you guys know of a place somewhere with In the Groove instead, that game can play custom songs off of USB. Y'know, if you wanted to stomp arrows to pony music or something. Casual mention.

      1. @redenchilada The problem with that is the machine has to be set up to accept USB... It takes very specific software versions, and you have to know what you're doing, plus the Arcade owners have to set the machine up to accept it, and the USB ports have to even be working. Tee Time has, or had anyway, a custom ITG Machine running OpenITG that had a lot of custom songs, but no working USB. I have not been there in over a year. I know St. Charles 18 has an ITG machine, but I think it's ITG1, which doesn't support USB. St. Louis has really fallen in the area of music gaming. Ameristar used to have ITG2, DDR 8th Mix, and Beatmania IIDX 7th Style, but now they only have DDR Supernova (Booo! But better than nothing.)

        1. @garylisk You guys should dig up St. Louis and push it somewhere else. Like Wisconsin, I've heard they have a good music game community?

              1. @garylisk Hi! I think I just got myself lost somewhere...

          2. @redenchilada Oh, yeah, if only... I hear Boston is awesome, too. I would kill for a working IIDX Machine again. My home controllers are no comparison, and I can't afford a DJDao.

            1. @garylisk Down in Austin we have an arcade with Technika, Pop 'n 17(?), and an OpenITG upgrade (with pony music even!!!), and a pizza place with a pretty good ITG2 dedicab, but other than that and a Pump Fiesta machine somewhere there's not that much around here either. :/
