    1. @mrmattimation I really need to make some connections with a currency exchange place because I could have made quite a few bucks if I had that back when the brexit thing happened and the pound crashed.

      1. @nerthos Being backed by what it is, I doubt the economists would have let that last for long even if they legitimately wanted to "punish" the Brexit voters.  I think it was mostly just the elite panicking about not getting their way.

        1. @maiyannah Yeah, but it was a perfect moment to make some money buying pound and then selling a few months later, as the crash wouldn't last. I just didn't know any specific place to go do the transaction.

            1. @maiyannah Anyone smart outside the commonwealth who had some spare change and knew where to go was likely doing it. I'm just salty I lost potential profit due to lack of connections.
