      2. @takecherryakenji i have a turkish coffee set, if you will, but the idea is to use my cooking supplies to 'cook' instant and forego bringing the coffee set.

        1. @awl All you need for a French press is the press itself and hot water.

          They also make coffee in bags like large teabags that you can just drop in hot water.  That's what I did on my last tour.

          1. @takeappleakenji yeah, the latter's what I got. Actually I bought a french press for work because I don't drink what they provide at the office. It's glass however.
