        @eris It runs on mastodon too. The issue is not my instance being blocked, it's the software itself not being built to federate with anything other than other mastodon instances or up to date gnusocial. It's supposed to work with anything running OSstatus but in practice it doesn't.

          @nerthos @eris Theory: Mastodon probably uses a different endpoint compared to SN/GS/pA, but the latter two have some way to handle this but SN doesn't.
