@widget Have a modular list that admins (and maybe mods too) can change?

@widget NEVER.

@widget Also I say mods because I secretly want to ban the word "scootabuse" from the timeline. :)

@redenchilada Filter "scootabuse"->"scootacuddles", watch as confusion unfolds when people try to mention it.

@widget Oh, I have a foul, foul mouth, I would help, but I don't know how to work this crazy contraption to send messages. Knowing my luck, I'll end up posting publicly and getting banned. XD

@widget Fine, killjoy. :<

@widget Removal would just be confusing. For example, if I told you to go yourself, just removing the word would produce a sentence like this.

@bitshift "Will you go get your things out of your house so I can destroy them?" "Go yourself." "Ok, thanks!"

@bitshift like, accidentally the whole thing. It could lead to much hilarity.

@widget It would be entertaining to replace them with other words. For instance, a forum I'm on replaces the F-bomb with "groove".

@widget Possibly reject the whole notice if an unacceptable word is found in the notice, with a return of what the word was?

@widget Replace the entire post with "removed for language", then. Or refuse to post it, with an appropriate error, or whatever. Just silently removing a word doesn't give any immediate clue what's going on until its happened a few times.

@widget 'Rarity is cool' => 'Rarity is lame'?

@widget Fun is only fun until it gets seriously confusing. In terms of practicality, telling the user "Your post was rejected because it contained the following phrase: 'Rarity is not the worst pony'." would be much better.
Tuesday, 17-Jul-12 02:58:02 UTC from web -
@widget I'd rather it spit the error and let the user correct the post themselves.
Tuesday, 17-Jul-12 02:59:56 UTC from web -
@widget It was mostly as a joke. It would be funnier than just removing the word, however. :)
