  1. Man, this just isn't working for me. I still feel way too scrutinized out here. Like saying the wrong thing could get misread by the wrong people and then I'd be up the creek again. I feel like I don't have permission to be angry or sad or feel injustice anymore. I'm gonna go somewhere else for a while.

    1. @trev Sooner or later you'll realize most of us don't really care if you flip out. Nobody's out to get you or prove you The Bad Guy. Just chill and be yourself, those that would tell you what to say and how to think are not your friends, they're (whether they're real people or constructs of insecurity) just chaining you down to constant stress and misery. The only way out of that, and into having a sustainable lifestyle is not letting them tell you what to do, and instead doing what you think is correct, by your own ethics.

    2. @trev The only way to not feel like this is to not involve a single other person.  As soon as people are involved, there's a pretty good chance you'll push somebody's button.

      1. @trev Humanity really is Fluffle Puffty.

      2. @takemangoakenji That's not really good advice. You're basically saying "don't talk with anyone or you'll be miserable"

        1. @nerthos It's been my experience.

          1. @takeappleakenji And apparently you just want more people to be in the same place.

        2. @nerthos @talekiwiakenji I find it hard to disagree other than the fact that underexposure to people will also leave you miserable

          1. @critialcloudkicker @takemangoakenji The thing is, ideally you should talk to people, just not let everyone and their dog condition how you think and yourcode of conduct.

            1. @nerthos @takemangoakenji Yes but one should be careful about selecting people you want to include and those whom you want to exclude, because before you know it you have created an echochamber and you will find that your world views are as warped and useless to apply to everything in the world as ( argueably ) all left media stations/outlets currently find themselves in

              1. @critialcloudkicker That's why I mentioned that second part. Talk to people, don't let them condition your thought. That means you talk to all kinds of people in the long run and make your own conclusions

                1. @nerthos Kinda hard to do. Those who have high charisma easily trample over those whom have a weaker resolve.

                  1. @critialcloudkicker You guys sure do like to undermine efforts to help people.

                    1. @nerthos I must have missed whom you were helping ( I thought we were discussing idealism ). That said I would hate to see that person turn into a 'my way or bust' fanatic.

Depends on a person, i guess.

    3. @trev Welcome to the world of hypersensitivity where the smallest misdemeanor will instantly transforms you into a neo-nazi pariah who deserves to be lynched.
