@abigpony That video just brought to the surface my dislike for 4chan..
-
@pony why?
-
@abigpony It mentions 4chan briefly and p*dos so it struck a chord i guess.
-
@pony >implying those exist all over the internet
-
@abigpony pretend there's a "don't" in there
-
@abigpony oh lol makes more sense now. yeah we're everywhere, and the ones on 4chan give us a bad rap.
-
@abigpony not that we need any help from 4chan lol*
-
@pony 4chan is Reddit 5.0
-
@abigpony I still know basically nothing about Reddit. is it like a somewhat cleaner version of 4chan?
-
@pony wait, "we're"? Are you saying you're a pedo? Because that would be weird. http://ur1.ca/9t2lg
-
@pony They're just more organized chaos. Everything 4chan has, but separated more and they try and constantly prove themselves better by claiming master race of the internet. I could explain for days why Reddit sucks. I'd do some snooping around for all the rants people have on it.
-
@abigpony ah hmm.. so it's actually a blog then? Is it anonymous too?
-
@abigpony By simply using "we" I've put myself at risk of being banned. I'm not weclome to show that part of myself on RDN, no matter how innocuous it in fact is..
-
@pony It's a social network site or whatever.
-
@abigpony ah ok. so less anonymous I suppose
-
@pony Eh. If slightly. You can make accounts to get karma, but the karma system is goddamn stupid and makes the people act like uptight, self-rightous pr*cks.
-
@pony You've done it before and I totes get where you're coming from. It just tripped me out to se you using "we" continuously in that context.
-
@abigpony hehe xD yeah. I get how that must seem strange.
-
@pony makes it a little less shocking when you remember that you've mentioned it all before.
-
@abigpony I kind of like the shock value it holds. Of course it blows up in my face when I take it too far. I'd prefer just being accepted by everypony, but that's not gonna happen. :P
-
@pony I accept you, mainly because how common it really is. You gotta understand why people don't, though, right?
-
@abigpony I understand it, but I hate it, yeah
-
@pony We all hate it when people don't accept something we stand for. Yours just happens to actually be an actual problem.
-
@abigpony yeah. I just feel it's a problem that should be met with understanding, not fear.
-
@pony Every problem should be met with understanding.
-
@abigpony exactly.
-
@pony Unfortunately, sometimes the more we understand, the more we fear it.
-
@abigpony I think it's a matter of feeling out of control that makes ponies fear things. Ideally understanding increases control, but when the information available about something is selective or skewed as it is in the media, or even outright lies, there's bound to be a loss of control. Rather than help, there's shame.
-
@pony And there is the knowledge about how little you actually know and can control.
-
@hakupony yep. Life is one big conundrum.
-
@pony Life is Pinkie Pie.
-
@pony I'm too tired to understand that right now.
-
@abigpony I just mean to say that I think there needs to be more unbiased education about cetain problems
-
@pony Reading over the first post, it seem you think all things are acceptable as long as there's unbiased education and understanding of such. is this correct? y/n?
-
@abigpony hmm.. I guess no, that's not what I mean, though I can see how you'd get that from what i said. I mean that all individuals are acceptable when we truly understand them, even if their condition or behavior is not.
-
@pony That's all relative to personal bias, social standards, public acceptance, integration, etc. It'd depend on how that influences their everyday actions as a person and how it effects others.
-
@abigpony lol* Now it's my turn to be tired and not understand. I'm pretty sure I agree anyway.
