1. Oh man, Crystal Caves is _by far_ the game I remember the most. My memory had gone hazy on most of the other games I've linked, but I still remember every single bit of CC as clearly as when I played it.

    1. @redenchilada Sounds like me with In Search of Dr. Riptide. Best submarine-based sidescroller I've ever played.

    3. @redenchilada Then again, I also remember Descent and Castle of the Winds pretty clearly, so it's not just one game from that point in my childhood that's stuck in my memory.

      2. @bitshift I honestly wish I had played more DOS games back in the day. I've pretty much linked every one, besides some crappy golf game and some game show games, and a first-person driving game I hardly remember anything about except that it used a lot of hardware beeps. (The old computer never had sound. :c)

          3. @lyrica I'm looking at screenshots of Zone Raiders, and they look very familiar, but I'm still not entirely sure I ever played it (as opposed to only seeing it and remembering it from that, I guess).

                1. @bitshift No, I think it was because I wasn't into the shooter-sidescroller games when I was younger. I either craved speed, or action. So that was either Sonic the Hedgehog, or Flashback: A Quest For Identity.
