            @awl Mastodon doesn't even federate with older statusnet like you guys.  I'm pretty sure it's because Nerthos had very negative opinions of Gargron.

              @maiyannah @awl Regardless of my opinions on him I only talked with him like once or twice and about mostly technical stuff. All the cross-platform funposting I did was on SPC and federation didn't work already. He just never regarded statusnet compatibility as relevant from the let go.
