@nerthos Well, for simple text files that's a good choice. You don't need any heavy office suite to open that and it just works :P

@omni The few times I need to do fancy things with office suites, it's to print them, so format is not an issue.

@nerthos God, I know, everything in GNOME3 is huge. The default window borders seem to be like 96 pixels high. It's a design disaster, but after some tweaking it's starting to look better.

@omni @nerthos I write everything plain text in !orgmode and copy it to !libreoffice if I need formatting. Because I don't know !latex.
