@astra not sure. but I did a complete uninstall and scrubbed the folder, config, & registry. That seemed to fix it :)

@gear hm. yeah. not quite sure what to do there... OSX is a different beast, obviously. but try trashing hte app and maybe places where it could potentially hide confiles.

@princessluna @gear Yes, delete the app, then run something like OnyX to clear the caches, and maybe do a quick search to make sure no conf files are hiding there before reinstalling.

@princessluna Mine just has one small glitch,it refuses to show my avatar in the sidebar for my profile.

@colfax yeah mine was donig that too. a full reinstall / clean helped cure that, amongst other things.

@nvrrmbr *blush* It happens. When I do, it's usually just one drink, just enough to mellow me out, maybe once every few weeks or so. Beyond that, I am something of a self-control freak. Been drunk twice in my life, turning me into a giggly chatterbox with worse balance than I already have. Amusing at the time, but scary for me.

@astra We're talking about drunk!? I like being drunk, but I don't drink all the time. I'll drink for a month or two, then stop for a while. When I am drunk though I'm just like I am now, just a mite louder, less shy and easier to entertain.

@communistprime Yes, there are quite a few people who like being drunk, it seems. I've lived in places where it's been just a way of life. It's one of the reasons I've left those places, to be honest. Being around people who have been drinking doesn't quite make me as nervous as it once did, many years ago, but it's still not comfortable for me, especially as a regular thing. Not a knock on people who enjoy getting blitzed. It just isn't for me.

@astra That's respectable. In Wisconsin (especially where I'm from, Kenosha) drinking is a big thing. And I'm Irish, so I feel somewhat obligated to drink, haha. But sometimes I just don't feel like it for a while and I don't. But, to each their own!

@communistprime Now, I'm out in the Portland, Oregon, area. Oddly, it's sort of like being in Madison, in a lot of ways, except that drinking isn't nearly as prevalent a part of the culture here. There's even a lot of people wearing green and gold here, though most are for the Oregon Ducks, not the Green Bay Packers. ;)

@communistprime It really is nice here. It seems to suit me, and I've been here for several years now. Anyway, that sounds like a possibility for the future! As for being deployed -- for the military, I'm assuming -- well, hopefully, they aren't going to be sending you any place TOO dangerous.
