This screen is far too big. I'm not used to this. (I'm testing a 21.5" LCD 16:9 on 1920x1080)

@nerthos Lol that's the size of my screen.

@minti It's a waste of money. Mostly because it's 16:9

@nerthos I still prefer 16:9 cause I can play a game and shove a chat in the space on the side. If I was using Linux I'd have no problem with a small monitor cause it allows multiple workspaces. xD

@minti For that it actually makes sense. I like to play on full screen, so I just alt+tab regularly.

@nerthos xD Yeah, I barely ever play on full screen. I've got the space so why waste it?

@minti Actually I'm liking this test setup. I'm on my netbook, with the big monitor, and a male-male audio cable connected from the speaker output to the mic input of the main sound system of the house. All this to watch anime with my cousin and test this monitor.

@nerthos I had a setup like that awhile ago, had to tear it appart cause I had it set up using my dad's surround sound and his huge TV, and he didn't exactly want me using them 24/7. xD

@minti I'll dissasemble this in an hour or so. I have to go at 14:00, an it's 12:27 already. But it worked as intended, and we now know this monitor works fine. It's going to be the anime center of the house.

@minti i prefer having two screens. one is a 4:3 monitor as designated walkthrough/RDN screen when im playing a game, and my laptop's 16:9 screen for the actual game.

@techdisk42 Someday I want to make a tri-screen setup with three 16:9 monitors.

@techdisk42 I've been meaning to do a multi-monitor setup. But I'd OCD if they weren't the exact same monitor xD

@minti the 4:3 one is pretty old, and i have a laptop. but i reccomend when your using windows 7 to electronically set up the monitors so that they wrap at corners. that way it doesnt break aerosnap.

@techdisk42 I'm going to mount a three monitor setup once I move. Right now I don't have the space. I'l probably use a 21" 4:3 as main monitor, and two 17" 16:9 on the sides.

@nerthos i know my laptop is 13.3" at 1600x900 resolution, while my 4:3 i think is 17" (havent checked in a while) and at 1280x1024
Monday, 30-Jul-12 15:31:12 UTC from web-
@techdisk42 Why do you have a 13.3" set to 1600x900?
Monday, 30-Jul-12 15:36:30 UTC from web-
@nerthos why not? thats the max resolution, and it looks good.
