@mrmattimation There's a lot going on and while most of it is stupid, I think it's more detrimental to suggest Comey handed Trump the election than facing the facts of what actually got him elected. Two weeks ago, the left was calling for Comey's resignation, but now that he's fired they're like "HITLER". No one's doing any of this service. We got hit by two bad choices in an environment where the media is constantly trying to tear us apart and create hostility to sell clicks. Bad times. This is worse than Nixon, but the Comey thing is more disturbing to me from a "Trump's actually the NEOCON he said he wasn't", than the "BUT RUSSIA" narrative.

@rw counterpoint: I always thought and still do think Comey should have been fired so none of this applies to me.

@rw I disliked Comey. I think he did at least contributed a little bit to Trump's election. I also think that his dismissal was seven different kinds of fishy. These are not mutually exclusive.
