      1. @scribus Indeed. Me and my friends share a wizards account and have access to the (crappy) online character builder. Although it is comfortable to level up on the computer the overall GUI is horribly slow and confusing.

        1. @broniebrown Hmm... I haven't played since 3.x, myself, and I don't know if there were any official computer tools. Anyway, bad UI is a downer, you'd think after 20+ years we'd have a decent grip on that.

          1. @scribus I started with the 4th edition. We tried once 3.5 but it was a bit too complicated for beginners. Regarding to the UI... the offline character builder is a lot better but this one get no updates.

            1. @broniebrown Heh I liked the complications of 3.5. :p Then again, I started at the tail end of 2nd Edition AD&D, so... there's that. I can totally see it being a bit to absorb, but at least there was no THAC0 by then.
