        @pony OK I'll admit, I only tried for about 20 minutes today before quitting. xD I get frustrated too easily when I seem to make 0 progress in drawing even the simple shapes, like the mouth

          @tara Oh yeah. It's easy, especially when you're just learning, to treat every stroke as precious like it has to be perfect. Really that can take away from the big picture and frustrate the snot out of you. x3 I find it's easier and more satisfying to, almost carelessly, explore what you want to draw with quick, light repetitive lines to first get an idea of what you want. Making it messy is a good thing I feel. Then you go back and make darker lines over the shapes you like best.. basic stuff.
